Rotala's timeline is as follows:


March 2005 - Rotala PLC formed as a Cash Shell and listed on AIM.

August 2005 - Rotala PLC acquired Flights Hallmark Ltd and Flights Corporate Transfers Ltd.



September 2006 - Simon Dunn and Geoff Flight are appointed to the Rotala PLC Board of Directors.

October 2006 - Rotala PLC acquired Zaks Bus and Coach Services Ltd, later renamed Central Connect Ltd.

December 2006 - Central Connect Ltd acquired bus business and certain assets of Birmingham Motor Traction Ltd.



April 2007 - Flights Hallmark Ltd through the trading name Wessex Connect commenced operations in Bristol.

June 2007 - Flights Hallmark Ltd started to acquire parts of the bus business of South Gloucestershire Bus and Coach Company Ltd.

July 2007 - Acquired North Birmingham Busways Ltd and North Birmingham Training Ltd.



February 2008 - Acquired Go West Midlands Ltd, later renamed Diamond Bus Company Ltd.

April 2008 - Rotala PLC appoint Robert Dunn to the Board of Directors.

April 2008 - Rotala PLC acquired Ludlows of Halesowen Ltd.



June 2009 - Flights Hallmark Ltd commenced operations in Bath.

October 2009 – Bath University service launched


April 2010 – Rotala PLC pays its maiden dividend



January 2011 – Rotala PLC acquired Preston Bus Limited

June 2011 – Flights Hallmark Ltd commenced operation of route diagrams for National Express

September 2011 – Preston Bus commences operation of the group’s first hybrid buses


March 2012 – Further Green Bus Fund award to the Rotala PLC group

December 2012 – Revised Suite of Banking Facilities



January 2012 – Acquisition of Avonmouth Depot
