On 25th January 2011, Rotala Plc acquired the legal entity Preston Bus Limited from a subsidiary of Stagecoach Plc.

After intervention and investigation Stagecoach were forced by the Competition Commission to dispose of their previously acquired business.

The business is predominately a Commercial Bus business, which provides some subsidised bus operation and Commercial Vehicle repair and Maintenance contracts.

The business undertakes in the region of 10 million passenger journeys per year, and provides a comprehensive network of services for the Preston area.
