The Red Diamond brand of The Diamond Bus Company Ltd operates from two depots, Redditch and a new depot near Worcester. The services run from these depots are mostly local contracted services.

The Diamond Bus Company was formed from the acquisition of Go West Midlands Limited in March 2008 from the Go-Ahead Group PLC. The loss making company was turned into a profit making entity within 3 months of becoming part of Rotala.

2008 saw investment in 40 brand new vehicles split between the Red and Black Diamond fleet, in order to target specific areas of operation and create a network of services.

More recently, the bus business of Ludlows of Halesowen has successfully been merged into the Diamond Bus Company.
