Wessex Connect, a trading name of Flights Hallmark Limited, began operating in Bristol in April 2007. By June of that year, the bus business of South Gloucestershire Bus and Coach Company had been acquired and rapid growth has followed.

As of October 2009, the company had carried over 350,000 passengers in one calendar month, and will be launching new services throughout 2010 on the back of winning funding from the Government's Green Bus initiative.

With a presence in the area since 2007, the Wessex Connect brand has grown from strength to strength. Services have been developed across the contracted and commercial sector with growth seen in Local Authority contracts and the 'UniConnect' brand that was recently introduced at the University of Bath. The company is also reviewing strategic locations for property within the Bristol and Bath area to position well for the future.

Our aim is to expand in the South West, both geographically and functionally, by providing a cost effective alternative within the existing public transport market.
